With a background in PR and marketing, Miranda has built a portfolio career as a non-exec and consultant.
She was for nine years trustee and vice-chair of the national prison charity Fine Cell Work which teaches high-end stitching within prisons and on release.
She is a patron of Home-Start Suffolk, and was for eight years a governor of a secondary school in Lowestoft. She has recently joined the Messums Creative board in Lowestoft as it develops a new model for art within the community.
Miranda is a vice president of the Country Trust, the UK’s leading national educational charity connecting children from areas of high social and economic disadvantage with food and farming. She is an ambassador for the Woodland Trust.
Miranda volunteered with Ormiston Families to support funding initiatives for its charitable support for young people and families before joining the board in 2019.
Miranda lives with her husband on an organic farm near Saxmundham.
